Bio
Kwasi Bruni is an Afro‑Cuban big band co-led by bassist Barry Hill and pianist Camilo Losada. They play high-energy Latin jazz and salsa, drawing on the “descarga” jam session tradition. Featuring 11–12 musicians with strong horn and percussion sections, their music is inspired by legends like Tito Puente and Cachao López. The band is known for lively, danceable performances at jazz clubs and community venues in regional Australia.
