Lal Tuna began as a folk singer-songwriter, performing intimate acoustic songs at open mics and small venues. While studying at the Fine Arts School in Bordeaux, she expanded into experimental music, creating immersive soundscapes built around guitar, violin, ambient textures, and field-recording-style atmospheres. Her debut EP, ...Not Until the Innocence Lost Is Found (2024), introduced a dark ambient and experimental side of her work. In 2025 she released the single "Television Forever," showcasing a broader sound that drew from Japanese surf rock, gothic country, doom metal, dream pop, and indie rock influences. The song marked a return to her singer-songwriter roots while retaining her experimental approach.
