Bio
LÂLKA is a Borneo-born, Meanjin-based multi-hyphenate artist known for her effervescent glitch future club music and high-octane aesthetics. A classically trained musician turned rogue, she crafts electrifying, unexpected music that blends dark basslines with soaring melodies and a touch of playful chaos. Her work is presented through the lens of her experiences as a queer neurodivergent woman of color, bringing a unique perspective to the underground music scene. LIMINAL LÂLKA's critically acclaimed mixtape Romance + Rebellion is a cohesive and immersive journey that is both nostalgic and brutal, reflecting themes of love and personal transformation. She has performed at major festivals such as St Jerome's Laneway Festival, FOMO, and BIGSOUND, and has supported artists like Charli XCX and Genesis Owusu. Her collaborations include working with artists like Donatachi, Ninajirachi, BRUX, and Feels.
