Bio
Lapidatus is a Melbourne-based three-piece rock band formed by young musicians brought together by a shared desire to perform live music. The group has featured singer-guitarist Zane Blumeris, bassist Ryan Holloway and drummer Craig Blumeris, and grew out of connections made while working at a music store before solidifying its lineup. They’ve developed a reputation on the local scene for energetic shows, with releases such as the 2025 album Stoning and regular performances at Melbourne venues including The Tote Hotel and Bergy Bandroom. Musically, Lapidatus are often described as a progressive rock–leaning trio, combining funky rhythms and riff-driven arrangements into high-energy live sets
