Bio
Lara Villani is a Melbourne-based singer-songwriter making her mark in the Australian music scene with a dynamic fusion of pop and R&B. She started her musical journey early: at six years old she began piano and singing lessons, which paved the way to guitar, musical theatre and discovery of her voice. Her debut single, “STOP”, launched in 2023 and surfaced from a personal place—a difficult experience she overcame—and marked the emergence of her deeply emotional songwriting style. Subsequent releases such as “Ghost of You” (2024) and “Losing My Mind” (2025) further underscored her compelling mix of vulnerability, modern R&B groove and pop sensibility. With her debut EP Whiplash scheduled for release in October 2025, Lara continues to solidify her standing as one of Australia’s exciting up-and-coming talents.
