Bio
Lazy Haze are a rising indie rock band from Perth (Boorloo), Western Australia, formed in 2023. The group quickly emerged from the local scene after its members connected through shared musical interests and early jam sessions, developing a tight-knit lineup and a strong live identity. Their sound blends indie rock, pop, and alternative rock, with a laid-back but emotionally driven style built around warm guitar tones, melodic hooks, and reflective lyrics. Early releases like “Personal”, “Stick Around”, and “Old Town” helped establish their reputation on Triple J Unearthed, with their music often described as surfy, heartfelt, and easy to connect with both live and in studio recordings. Lazy Haze are part of a new wave of Australian indie bands gaining traction through grassroots touring, strong online engagement, and consistent support from Triple J, building momentum across the national live circuit.
