Lightnin Jack (real name Jack Ceriani) is a blues-based singer, guitarist and songwriter from Western Australia, known for his gritty vocals, raw slide-guitar tone, and foot-stomping energy. Raised in a small jarrah-milling town in the state’s southwest, Jack began his career busking and releasing bootleg CDs before becoming one of the region’s most recognized live blues acts. His sound bridges Delta-style slide blues with Australian roots rock, often performing solo with lap-steel and resonator guitars, or fronting a full electric band with driving rhythm and groove. Over the years, he’s performed hundreds of shows across Australia — including major festivals such as the Mitchell Creek Rock N Blues Fest — and has shared stages with artists like Ash Grunwald, Tony Joe White and Phil Emmanuel. In 2023, he released a live album capturing the energy of his on-stage performances, and his forthcoming 2025 studio album Tone River continues his exploration of soulful, roots-driven blues rock.
