Bio
Loons are an emo post-punk band from Mulubinba (Newcastle, NSW), blending indie, rock, and punk into a sound that feels both restless and reflective. Formed in 2020, the four-piece channel lived experience into music that moves between haze-soaked melodies and jagged intensity—raw, intimate, and emotionally charged. Their songs balance tension and catharsis, creating moments that linger long after they end. Having shared stages with acts like Hockey Dad, Dune Rats, and Trophy Eyes, Loons continue to carve out their place with a sound that’s unafraid to sit in the dark and let the music speak.
