Lord Esme is a four-piece Sydney pop band known for an eclectic and playful sound that blends pop, rock and folk. Their music combines humour and heart with jangly, understated songwriting, while their live shows range from indie ballads to energetic rock songs and feature saxophone. They describe their style as “cardigan pop” / “cardigan rock.” Their debut album, A Nice Sit Down, was released through Half A Cow Records and has been described as a charming jangle-pop record.
