Bio
Lover is an Australian experimental electronic-pop project based in Melbourne, known for blending dreamy textures, glitchy production, and emotive pop songwriting. Emerging from the independent and DIY scene, the project explores a fusion of experimental pop, electronic, and indie influences, often built around atmospheric sound design and intimate, lo-fi production aesthetics. Their music sits in the space between underground electronic experimentation and accessible pop structure, drawing comparisons to artists in modern alt-pop and electronic indie scenes. The project has gained attention through online platforms and the triple j Unearthed circuit, where it is recognised for its distinctive, emotionally driven sonic style.
