Maggie Lindemann is an American singer and songwriter born on July 21, 1998, in Dallas, Texas. She first gained attention in the mid-2010s through social media, posting singing videos that led to her discovery and move to Los Angeles to pursue music professionally. She rose to mainstream recognition in 2016 with her breakout single “Pretty Girl,” which charted internationally and established her early pop sound. Over time, Lindemann shifted away from mainstream pop into a more alternative and edgy sound, exploring themes of mental health, relationships, identity, and emotional struggle. This evolution is strongly reflected in her later releases. Her debut EP Paranoia (2021) marked her transition into pop-punk and alternative rock influences, followed by her debut album Suckerpunch (2022). She continued developing her style with the EP Headsplit (2024) and her second album I Feel Everything (2025), which blends alternative pop, rock, and electronic elements while focusing on deeply personal storytelling. Today, Maggie Lindemann is known for her genre-blending alternative pop sound, strong visual identity, and independent artistic direction, often merging pop, rock, and emo-inspired influences into her music.
