Makoyana is a Melbourne-based DJ and curator (real name Aaron Lee) who is deeply involved in Naarm’s underground electronic scene. He’s a key figure behind the thread. collective, organizing East and Southeast Asian–themed events. As a selector, he’s known for his eclectic, “wiggly‑floaty‑techy” vinyl sets, blending dreamy, progressive, and experimental cuts. He has also played at alternative venues like Solace and collaborated with underground curators and artists in intimate settings.
