Manuka Honey is the stage name of Marissa Malik, a US-born, London-based DJ, producer, astrologer, and multidisciplinary artist known for her electrifying, genre-blurring club sets and productions. She fuses Latinx and Caribbean dance music with UK bass, reggaeton, dembow, baile funk, and experimental club sounds, creating a sound that is both sensual and chaotic. Manuka Honey’s music is a high-energy blend of reggaeton, dembow, baile funk, cumbia, shatta, and UK bass, often layered with industrial textures and experimental rhythms. She describes her sound as “hot and humid,” aiming to create a visceral, body-moving experience on the dancefloor. ​ Her sets are known for their unpredictability, seamlessly transitioning from underground club tracks to mainstream hits, always maintaining a sense of fun and intensity.
