Bio
Máquina Peligrosa is an Australian surf punk, garage rock, and psych band from Melbourne, known for their high-energy live shows, fuzz-driven sound, and cinematic “spy-noir” style intensity. The group describes their music as a blend of dark surf punk, garage rock, and psychedelic chaos, designed for fast, loud, and sweat-soaked performances. Formed as a three-piece, the band features members Logan Jeffs, Felix Potier, and Jose Tortabu. They have built a strong reputation in Australia’s underground scene through DIY releases, limited-run vinyl singles, and energetic live gigs across Melbourne venues and festivals. Their sound combines surf-rock guitar tones, punk aggression, and psych-leaning textures, often described as “dangerous machine” energy—matching their name (Spanish for Máquina Peligrosa). Their releases include tracks like Chased By Goons, Everybody Up!, and Death Tube, which showcase their driving rhythms, fuzz-heavy guitars, and cinematic tension. Known for their raw and physical live presence, Máquina Peligrosa has become part of Australia’s modern DIY punk and garage revival scene, with growing attention from independent radio, vinyl collectors, and underground music communities.
