Bio
Matty Rogers is based in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia. He was born in Wollongong and was influenced early by listening to his dad practising with his band. He writes heartfelt songs that blur genre boundaries: blending elements of folk, soul, blues, country, and roots. His performances are noted for authenticity, emotional voice, and a desire to make listeners feel connected — to feel like they’re not alone. His track catalogue includes singles like Human Hearts (2024), Made of Steel (2024), Just One Day (2021), Moving On (feat. Roshani, 2020), Walk to the Water (2020), plus earlier albums Soul Fire (2013) and Movin On (Live, Raw, Acoustic in the Studio) (2017). He’s been performing in festivals across Northern NSW, including Airlie Beach Festival of Music, etc.
