Bio
Mayhemtom is the solo project of Melbourne-based singer-songwriter and oncologist Tom John, blending introspective lyricism with lush indie rock and orchestral textures. His music explores themes of love, grief, burnout, and the human experience, drawing inspiration from artists like Radiohead and The National. After years away from music, he returned with his debut single “Reach Out” and the album The Art of Flying While Falling (2022), praised for its emotional depth and cinematic sound. His follow-up project, Atheistic, continues to merge heartfelt storytelling with dreamy, melodic rock.
