Bio
Misery Guts are a Melbourne‑based hardcore/metal outfit known for delivering gritty riffs, ferocious energy, and raw live performances. Rooted in an aggressive blend of heavy music styles, the band has made waves on the Victorian underground scene by fusing hardcore’s intensity with elements of metal and “dirty southern” swagger, creating a visceral sound that hits hard in both studio recordings and on stage. The group has played alongside fellow heavy acts in gigs throughout Victoria and beyond, earning a reputation for high‑octane shows that pair driving breakdowns with an unapologetically heavy attitude. Their music channels the spirit of classic hardcore and metal while carving out a distinctive edge in Australia’s independent heavy music circuit.
