Misty Harlowe is an Australian Americana and country singer-songwriter from the Snowy River region of Victoria. Her music blends country, roots, and folk traditions with evocative storytelling that reflects themes of landscape, heartache, and desire, often infused with a Western cinematic flair. She gained attention with her debut single Run Me Down River, which reached #4 on the AMRAP charts, followed by Days of Summer. Misty has performed at major events such as the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Loch Hart Festival, Bruthen Blues Festival, and The Lake Charlegrark Country Music Marathon, and has supported artists including CW Stoneking, Jim Lauderdale, The Davidson Brothers, Mick Thomas, and Shaun Kirk. In 2024, she travelled to Nashville, Tennessee, to record her single Welcome to the Wild West, working with U.S. session musicians and further refining her Americana sound. The track is the lead for her upcoming EP of the same name, set for release in August 2025. Her reputation continues to grow in both Australia and abroad, with critics praising her ability to merge authentic country roots with a modern and genre-bending style.
