Momma is an American indie rock band from Calabasas, California, now based in Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 2015 by Etta Friedman and Allegra Weingarten, the group features Aron Kobayashi Ritch on bass and Preston Fulks on drums. They’re known for their riffy, ruminative indie rock sound and emotionally honest songwriting. The band has released several albums, including Interloper (2018), Two of Me (2020), Household Name (2022), and their critically acclaimed Welcome to My Blue Sky (2025). The latter features standout tracks like “I Want You (Fever)”, which helped expand their profile with TV exposure and chart success. Momma has toured with artists like Alex G, beabadoobee, and Wet Leg, and played major festivals including Coachella and Primavera Sound. In January 2026, they’re making their debut Australian tour, performing in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.
