Bio
Mork is a Norwegian black metal project created by songwriter, producer, and multi‑instrumentalist Thomas Eriksen in Halden, Norway (2004). The project began as a one‑man solo endeavor with a focus on raw, atmospheric black metal, drawing inspiration from the early ‘90s Norwegian scene and artists like Darkthrone. Over time, Mork evolved into a full live band for performances while maintaining Eriksen’s creative direction in the studio. Their music is characterized by frostbitten riffs, relentless blast beats, harsh vocals, and a bleak, immersive atmosphere — hallmarks of true Norwegian black metal. Mork has released multiple critically praised albums and EPs and has toured internationally, including a 2026 Australian tour.
