Bio
Motionless In White is an American metalcore band from Scranton, Pennsylvania, formed in 2004 and fronted by vocalist Chris “Motionless” Cerulli. They are known for blending metalcore, gothic metal, industrial metal, and nu-metal influences, creating a sound that combines heavy riffs, electronic textures, and dark, cinematic atmospheres. Their music and aesthetic are heavily influenced by horror imagery, gothic visuals, and theatrical performance style, with lyrics often exploring themes like alienation, trauma, mental health, and social commentary. Over their career, they’ve evolved from a more underground metalcore act into a major modern heavy band, releasing albums such as *Creatures*, *Reincarnate*, *Graveyard Shift*, *Disguise*, and *Scoring the End of the World*. They are also known for high-production live shows featuring pyrotechnics, cinematic visuals, and dramatic stage performance, making them a staple in modern alternative metal touring circuits.
