Bio
Mountain Ash is an Australian indie rock band from Brisbane, Queensland. Their music blends indie rock, pop, and alternative rock, built around textured guitars, melodic basslines, and atmospheric, dreamlike vocals. The band draws influence from 90s indie, shoegaze, and new wave, creating a sound that sits between energetic guitar-driven rock and softer, dreamy pop elements. The group is a five-piece collective with members from diverse international backgrounds, which contributes to their layered and eclectic approach to songwriting. Their tracks, such as *Signals* and *The Spark*, showcase a mix of jagged guitar work, fluid rhythm sections, and melodic hooks that reflect both modern indie rock and retro influences.
