Mr. Ruckman (born Kade Ruckman) is an underground hip‑hop artist, emcee and lyricist based in Melbourne, Australia, known for his distinctive wordplay, dense rhyme schemes and passionate live performances. He’s been active in the Australian hip‑hop scene for over a decade, building a reputation through independent releases, battle rap success and compelling studio albums. Mr. Ruckman first emerged under the name Kade MC, releasing his debut The Ruckman Record and gaining significant attention with his powerful performances. In early 2013, he adopted the moniker Mr. Ruckman, marking a shift toward more mature and concept‑driven music. He released the controversial concept EP The Born Again Humanist through iconic Australian label Obese Records, featuring the single Mammoth, which received airplay on Triple J. Later works include albums such as Sooner or Later, a two‑part concept record centered on themes of monotony, change, and personal growth — featuring notable collaborations and self‑produced material. Across his career, Mr. Ruckman has performed live extensively with full bands and shared stages with respected Australian hip‑hop acts like Horrorshow, Dialectrix and Gully Platoon, as well as international artists including Pharoahe Monch, R.A. The Rugged Man and GZA of Wu‑Tang Clan. He’s also distinguished himself in battle rap circles, winning tournaments and memorable one‑on‑one battles, including a renowned victory over The Tongue.
