Nana Klumpp are an Australian 4-piece indie rock band from the Mid North Coast of NSW, now based in Newcastle. The band formed around four close friends who began writing music inspired by their coastal hometown and shared love of live performance. Their sound blends indie rock, nostalgic guitar-driven tones, and energetic live-band energy, influenced by acts like Ocean Alley, The VANNS, Hockey Dad, The Beatles, and Thin Lizzy. They’ve built a reputation through touring and supporting major Australian acts such as Lime Cordiale, Wolfmother, and Ruby Fields, steadily growing a strong grassroots following. Their music is described as infectious, upbeat, and emotionally reflective, often balancing fun, high-energy instrumentation with introspective lyrics. The band has accumulated hundreds of thousands of streams and continues to expand their catalog with new releases, including singles like “Catch A Flight,” “Mundane,” and “Sunset,” with ongoing momentum toward future EPs and shows.
