Bio
Nieve Ella (born Nieve Ella Pickering on January 1, 2003) is an English singer‑songwriter and indie pop artist from Albrighton, Shropshire, England. She taught herself guitar during the COVID‑19 lockdown and quickly developed her craft, releasing her debut EP Young & Naive in 2023. Her relatable, emotionally honest songwriting and guitar‑infused pop sound have helped her build a dedicated fanbase and earn support slots with artists like Dylan, Inhaler, The Courteeners, and Girl in Red. Ella is also a member of the London‑based musicians’ collective Loud LDN, and her 2023 release (Young & Naive/Lifetime of Wanting) charted at No. 38 on the UK Independent Album Chart. She’s been praised for blending indie pop hooks with guitar‑driven melodies and introspective lyrics about youth, relationships, and personal growth.
