Bio
Nightlight are a Melbourne-based Australian alternative music trio known for blending hyperpop, metalcore, alternative pop, EDM, and electronic influences into a bold, genre-defying sound. The band consists of Laura Lazzara (vocals), Hayley Austen (keytar/synths), and Jordan Higgins (drums), and have built a reputation for combining heavy music intensity with polished pop songwriting and high-energy live performances. Originally formed by longtime friends Laura and Hayley before expanding into a trio, Nightlight describe their music as “pop music for alternative people.” Their sound draws inspiration from artists such as Poppy, Ashnikko, Ariana Grande, and BABYMETAL, creating a fusion of catchy pop hooks, glitchy electronic production, and aggressive metalcore elements. The group gained attention through releases including *What If I’m The Devil?*, *HEAVEN//BELOW*, and *DRAMA//DRAMA*, establishing themselves as one of the emerging acts in Australia’s alternative music scene.
