Nothing Rhymes With Orange formed as a guitar-driven indie band made up of young musicians from Devizes in the South West of England. They began playing local shows and quickly gained attention for their energetic live performances and catchy indie songs. The band started by performing original material alongside some covers while playing small venues, pubs, and regional gigs around Wiltshire, Bath, Bristol, and nearby cities. Over time they developed a stronger identity and began focusing on their own songwriting and releases. Their sound mixes indie rock, indie pop, and indie-punk energy, often drawing comparisons to bands such as Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, and The Wombats. Through constant gigging and releases like singles and early EP material, the group has gradually built a reputation as an up-and-coming UK indie act, regularly playing independent venues and student-city circuits.
