Nxdia (born Nadia Ahmed, 15 June 2000) is an Egyptian-British alternative pop musician, singer-songwriter, and producer. They were born in Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt, and moved to Manchester, England at the age of eight, where they grew up and began developing their musical career. Nxdia started writing songs as a child and later learned music production through a youth program run by the band Everything Everything. They initially shared music online and gained early attention through social media platforms like TikTok, where their honest discussions about identity and culture helped them build a large following. Their music blends confessional lyrics with energetic pop production, often switching between English and Arabic, reflecting their multicultural background. Themes in their songs frequently explore identity, queer experiences, relationships, mental health, and self-expression. Nxdia released the EP In the Flesh (2023) and later the debut project I Promise No One’s Watching (2025), which gained significant streaming success. Their viral single “She Likes a Boy” became a breakout track and helped establish them as a rising voice in the UK alternative pop scene.
