Oceanique is an Australian folk‑rooted indie duo from regional Western Australia, now based in Naarm/Melbourne. Twin sisters Maddy and Jess Houston craft evocative, harmony‑rich music that blends heartfelt storytelling with seamless vocal harmonies, drawing comparisons to acts like First Aid Kit and The Staves. Since debuting in 2019, they’ve become a rising force in the Australian folk scene, earning awards such as Port Fairy Folk Festival’s Emerging Artist of the Year (2024) and Folk Alliance Australia’s Youth Artist of the Year (2022).
