Opiuo is the performing name of Oscar Davey-Wraight, a New Zealand-born electronic music artist, producer and DJ who is based in Melbourne, Australia and renowned for his vibrant, bass-driven sound and high-energy live shows. Originally from Ngatimoti, New Zealand, Opiuo moved to Melbourne, VIC to develop his musical career and quickly became a standout figure in global electronic music. His music combines funk, glitch, bass, soul and psychedelia into richly textured electronic productions that fill dance floors around the world. He has released numerous EPs, singles and albums including Slurp & Giggle, Meraki and Omniversal, and his catalogue continues to expand with releases such as Ascension Seeker (2025). Opiuo has performed internationally at major festivals and venues — including Lollapalooza, Glastonbury, Splendour In The Grass and sold-out shows like Red Rocks Amphitheatre — and shared stages with artists such as Bassnectar, Pretty Lights and MC Hammer. His live shows often fuse electronic production with dynamic performance, evolving from solo sets to full live band configurations and immersive audio-visual experiences.
