**Otis Kane** (born **Anthony Vasquez**) is an American singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in **Los Angeles, California**. Before launching his solo career, he built a reputation behind the scenes as a producer, songwriter, and keyboardist, working with a range of established artists. His music blends **contemporary R\&B**, **alternative R\&B**, **neo-soul**, funk, and pop influences, resulting in a smooth, soulful sound characterized by rich harmonies and polished production. Kane developed an interest in music at a young age, beginning to sing around the age of 10. A football coach with music industry connections introduced him to the recording studio, where he discovered a passion for music production. After briefly studying music in college, he left to work with renowned producer **Nellee Hooper**, whose credits include artists such as **Björk**, **Soul II Soul**, and **No Doubt**. Kane later toured as the keyboard player for British singer **Lolene** before founding his own production company, **STRZ Enterprises**, where he collaborated with artists including **Nick Jonas**, **Wiz Khalifa**, and **Julia Michaels**. In 2019, Kane stepped into the spotlight as a solo artist, independently releasing his first singles before signing with **Nettwerk Music Group**. He released the EP *Therapy* (2020), followed by *Growing Pains* (2021), his debut album *Purple Blue* (2021), and the companion EP *November Love Notes* later that year.
