Paledusk are a Japanese experimental metalcore band formed in 2014 in Fukuoka, Japan. Though not Australian in origin, they’ve become well known on the international heavy music circuit — including in Australia — through festival appearances and tours, especially after signing to the Australian label Greyscale Records and later to SharpTone Records for broader global distribution. The band consists of Kaito “KT” Nagai (vocals), Daisuke Ehara (guitar), Tsubasa “Two” Ishibashi (guitar), and Bob (drums). Their sound is characterised by chaotic, genre‑defying metalcore rooted in aggressive rhythms and heavy breakdowns, but also drawing from electronic, hip‑hop, EDM, and alternative elements that push beyond typical metal boundaries. Paledusk gained global recognition by performing at major events and festivals and touring internationally, including appearances at Australia’s Good Things Festival alongside heavy acts like Bring Me The Horizon and Deftones. In 2025 and 2026 they’ve continued to build momentum with genre‑blending releases—including explosive singles like “I ♡ YOU BABY!!” and “RUMBLE (feat. Masato of Coldrain)”—and embarked on international touring cycles, solidifying their reputation as one of the most eclectic modern metal acts on the scene.
