Pangaea is the stage name of Kevin McAuley, a London-based electronic music producer and DJ renowned for his innovative contributions to the UK's underground club scene. As a co-founder of the influential label Hessle Audio, alongside Ben UFO and Pearson Sound, Pangaea has been instrumental in shaping the evolution of contemporary dance music.​ Pangaea's sound is characterized by its fusion of various UK dance music genres, including dubstep, UK garage, techno, breakbeat, and happy hardcore. His productions often feature intricate rhythms, chopped-up vocals, and a playful yet precise approach to genre-blending, resulting in tracks that are both innovative and dancefloor-ready.
