Bio
Founded by frontman Harry Willicombe, guitarist Sam Butcher and bassist Alex Miller, with contributions from drummer Ash Smith, synth player Tom Emlyn and vocalist Gemini Anderson, Papa Jupe’s T.C. have established themselves as a distinctive presence in the UK indie scene. Their music and live shows draw on post‑punk energy, sleazy surf rock influence and playful, irreverent lyrics that touch on masculinity, politics and power with a surreal edge. They released the Wetmarket EP in 2023 and followed it with the Jupe in the Flesh EP in January 2025; singles like “High Value Male” and “Milgi” have earned radio play across Europe and the U.S., including premieres on BBC Radio 6 Music and features in music publications. The band has also built a reputation for lively, cult‑like live shows, headlining festivals and supporting other notable acts on tour.
