Bio
paper hats are a UK indie/alternative band emerging from the contemporary DIY and small-venue circuit, associated with the broader wave of post-punk-influenced indie music coming out of London and other UK creative hubs. The project sits in the space between indie rock and post-punk revival, with a strong emphasis on mood, texture, and songwriting over polished mainstream production. Their work is typically rooted in intimate, guitar-led arrangements that lean into melancholy, atmosphere, and emotional restraint rather than high-intensity or genre-extreme sounds.
