Bio
He’s the guitarist, singer, and producer for the Australian group Tijuana Cartel. Beyond the band, he also does solo work under his own name. His solo music tends toward folk, roots, ambient/electronica, and world-influenced sounds—drawing on classical, flamenco, Greek music, etc. He studied/acquired musical influences from many places: spent time in India practicing sitar, trained in Southern Spain (flamenco), and incorporates deep bass grooves, world music textures into his productions. Under his solo alias Black Rabbit George, he explores more acoustic, storytelling, folk-rooted material; he treats his solo work as a complement to his role in Tijuana Cartel.
