Bio
Pierce the Veil was formed in 2006 in San Diego, California by brothers Vic Fuentes (vocals/guitar) and Mike Fuentes (drums), following the breakup of their previous band, Before Today. They were later joined by Tony Perry (lead guitar) and Jaime Preciado (bass), forming the core lineup. The band gained recognition with their debut album A Flair for the Dramatic (2007), but rose to mainstream success with Collide with the Sky (2012), which featured their biggest hit “King for a Day.” Known for combining post-hardcore, emo, and experimental rock, Pierce the Veil developed a distinctive sound characterized by soaring vocals, intricate guitar work, and emotionally driven lyrics. Over the years, they’ve released multiple albums including Selfish Machines (2010), Misadventures (2016), and The Jaws of Life (2023), while building a global fanbase through constant touring and powerful live shows.
