PistonFist is an Australian heavy rock band from Brisbane, Queensland, formed in 2018. Known for their high-energy live shows and powerful guitar riffs, the band blends classic rock attitude with heavy metal and punk influences, creating a raw sound they often describe as “petrol rock.” The group gained attention in the Australian heavy music scene through a series of singles before releasing their debut album *Redline* in 2023. The album showcased their hard-driving style and energetic songwriting, helping them build a reputation for loud, aggressive rock performances. PistonFist has performed at festivals and venues across Australia and internationally, including tours in Europe and the UK, and they have shared stages with major acts such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Jane's Addiction, and Alice Cooper.
