Bio
Plastic Section is an Australian raw rock ’n’ roll / rockabilly band based in Melbourne, Victoria. They describe themselves on Instagram as *“Raw rock ’n’ roll from Melbourne…”*, showcasing gritty, high‑energy music rooted in rockabilly, rhythm & blues, and vintage‑inspired rock sounds with a DIY attitude and dance‑floor chaos. Their lineup features Ben Edwards (vocals & guitar) along with Pip McMullan (bass) and Sue Shaw (drums) — a trio that channels a mix of rock ’n’ roll, rockabilly swagger, and garage‑infused energy in both recordings and live shows. Their music draws on classic roots while injecting their own unpredictable, nocturnal vibe into every performance.
