Bio
POLYBIUS is a Sydney-based pop rock band blending emotional storytelling with high-energy, neon-lit production. Fronted by a powerful lead vocalist, the project fuses heartbreak and hedonism into bold, danceable anthems built on guitar-driven hooks and punchy pop-rock arrangements. Their sound sits between alt-pop, pop rock, and indie rock, balancing nostalgic emotional weight with upbeat, club-ready energy. POLYBIUS delivers songs that feel both cinematic and chaotic—pairing melodic vocals with gritty, energetic instrumentation designed for big live moments. Often described as drawing influence from acts like No Doubt, Paramore, and The Veronicas, the band sits comfortably in the modern Australian alt-pop/rock lane with a strong emphasis on attitude and emotional intensity.
