Bio
Prime Circle is a South African multi-platinum rock band formed in 2000 in Witbank (now eMalahleni), later based in Johannesburg. Known for combining melodic rock songwriting with heavier post-grunge and alternative influences, the band became one of South Africa’s most successful rock exports through chart-topping albums, international touring, and major festival appearances across Europe, the UK, and the Middle East. The group built a strong reputation with albums such as Hello Crazy World, Jekyll & Hyde, and The World We Know, earning multiple South African Music Awards and sharing stages with acts including Metallica, Seether, Live, and Collective Soul. Their sound blends emotionally driven alternative rock with hard rock energy, radio-friendly hooks, and post-grunge textures, helping them maintain a large following both in South Africa and internationally.
