Bio
Reenie is a Sydney‑based DJ, producer, radio host, and vinyl selector known for their eclectic, body‑moving sets and deep connection with Australia’s underground electronic music scene. A key voice in Eora’s nightlife culture, Reenie holds a residency at legendary Club 77 and regularly performs at events across Sydney and other Australian cities. Their sets are celebrated for blending rhythmic house, cosmic synths, acid, and eclectic electronic sounds with an instinctive groove drawn from a background in classical percussion and music obsession. Reenie is also a radio host on FBi Radio’s Sunset with Motorik, where they curate adventurous dance music and champion both local and international artists — helping shape the sonic landscape of Sydney’s community radio scene. On the production front, Reenie has released music such as the Space Cadet EP (featuring cosmic, groove‑oriented tracks) and collaborative works with Tunnel Signs, with releases on respected independent labels like Motorik! and Air Signs Music. Their passion for music extends beyond DJing — Reenie is a cratedigger, vinyl lover, and all‑round musical curator whose performances and broadcasts consistently reflect a fearless, joyful approach to sound.
