Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever (sometimes shortened to Rolling Blackouts C.F.) is a Melbourne, Australia‑based indie rock band formed in 2013. The five‑piece features Fran Keaney (vocals, guitar), Tom Russo (vocals, guitar), Joe White (vocals, lead guitar), Joe Russo (bass) and Marcel Tussie (drums) — with three singer‑songwriters sharing guitar and vocal duties to create their distinctive sound. Emerging from late‑night jam sessions and Melbourne’s vibrant live scene, they released early EPs Talk Tight (2016) and The French Press (2017), the latter helping them break through internationally after signing with US label Sub Pop. Their full‑length albums include Hope Downs (2018), Sideways to New Italy (2020) and Endless Rooms (2022), all defined by bright, jangly guitar interplay, infectious melodic hooks and rhythmic drive that blends indie rock with jangle pop and surf‑inflected textures. The band has toured globally and played major festivals, building a devoted fanbase for their energetic, guitar‑centric music.
