Bio
ROPS1 is a Australian hip‑hop/rap artist from Macquarie Fields in Sydney, NSW, known for raw storytelling rooted in his experiences growing up in a tough southwest Sydney suburb. His authentic, street‑inspired lyrics and emotive delivery caught the attention of Australian hip‑hop legend Kerser, who co‑signed him and invited him to join as an official support act on a national tour in 2023, helping raise his profile in the local scene. Since then, ROPS1 has released impactful tracks like “TRAPSTA” and “Love For My Brothers”, blending gritty street realism with introspective themes that connect with audiences across Australia. In 2025 he signed with Sydney‑based indie label New Levels and continued his rise with a viral run of releases that led into his debut headline TRAPSTA Tour across major Australian cities in 2026. His music is characterised by hard bars, heavy beats, and an unfiltered voice that reflects both the struggle and ambition of his community, positioning him as one of the exciting emerging voices in contemporary Australian hip‑hop.
