Ruhail Qaisar is a self-taught artist and experimental musician originally from **Leh, Ladakh** in the northern Himalayas, India. He is known for creating immersive sound art that blends **drone, ambient, noise, power electronics and found soundscapes**, exploring themes of memory, intergenerational trauma, local mythos, and socio-political upheaval through evocative sonic textures. His work emerged through cross-genre projects and performances since around **2015**, with early noise shows across India before releasing his **debut album *Fatima*** in **2023** on the Danse Noire label, an intense concept record reflecting personal and cultural narratives.
