Rumble Pack is an Australian jazz fusion ensemble led by guitarist and educator Mike Anderson, known for their groove-based approach to modern jazz and improvisational music. Based in Brisbane, the group brings together some of the city’s leading young musicians and improvisers. Their sound blends jazz fusion, funk, hip-hop-inspired rhythms, and contemporary groove music, drawing influence from artists such as J Dilla, Butcher Brown, Medeski Martin & Wood, and Joshua Redman. The band is known for dynamic live performances that mix original compositions with reimagined arrangements of well-known tracks, often featuring extended improvisation and rhythmic experimentation.
