Bio
Sabbat are a British thrash metal band formed in the mid-1980s, widely regarded as part of the early UK thrash metal movement. They became known for their technical playing style and for incorporating occult and folklore-inspired themes into their lyrics and imagery. Their early work was influential in shaping the UK underground thrash scene, and they built a strong cult following both in Britain and internationally. After an initial active period, they later reunited for live performances and continue to appear at metal festivals and club shows.
