Sally Cooper is a Queensland‑based Australian singer‑songwriter, registered music therapist and vocalist whose work blends soulful vocals with roots, folk, blues, jazz and world music influences. Based around Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, she began her music journey performing internationally — including long‑term residencies in 5‑star hotel lounges and stages across Asia (India, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, China, Bahrain, Doha and Tahiti) and in major cities in Australia. Originally trained as a nurse, Sally later integrated her healthcare background with music by completing a Master of Music Therapy, and now works using singing and sound for wellbeing, therapeutic vocal sessions and community music work. Alongside this, she performs original music — solo and with supporting musicians — and employs techniques like vocal looping and acoustic accompaniment to deliver emotive live shows. She writes and performs her own songs (e.g., tracks available on Bandcamp such as Love Will Rise) and is known for a warm, evocative vocal style that weaves together blues, folk, world and jazz elements in both original compositions and dynamic live sets.
