Bio
Santa Ana Rodeo is a Boulder, Colorado–based indie rock band known for their energetic, guitar-driven sound that blends indie rock, blues, and surf-tinged influences. The band was formed by university friends at the University of Colorado Boulder, developing through late-night jam sessions into a full live act. They built a strong following in the Colorado indie scene through energetic performances, college shows, and regional touring across the U.S. West Coast. Their music is influenced by artists like The Backseat Lovers, Gary Clark Jr., and Jimi Hendrix, giving their sound a mix of indie rock swagger, bluesy guitar work, and raw live energy. They released their debut EP in 2025 and continue developing new material while touring, focusing heavily on high-energy live performances and grassroots audience building. In short, they sit in the modern U.S. indie scene with a strong emphasis on live band energy and blues-infused rock songwriting.
