Bio
Saosin is an American post-hardcore band formed in 2003 in Newport Beach. Known for their dynamic blend of melodic hooks and aggressive instrumentation, the band became a key influence in the mid-2000s emo and post-hardcore scene. Their early releases, particularly the Translating the Name EP, gained a cult following for its technical guitar work and emotional intensity. Over the years, Saosin has featured notable vocalists including Anthony Green and Cove Reber, each contributing to the band’s evolving sound. Combining elements of post-hardcore, emo, and alternative rock, Saosin achieved mainstream success with their self-titled debut album in 2006. Despite lineup changes and hiatus periods, the band has remained highly influential, with a dedicated global fanbase and continued touring and releases.
